Becoming Researchers

The Becoming Researchers project is funded through the Social Sciencies and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). In this research project, Dr. Michelle McGinn and her research team seek to critically examin research practices and identify theoretical, practical, and policy implications related to research capacity in the social sciences in Canada. Better understandings of the process of being or becoming social science researchers can provide insight into better preparation and working conditions for social science researchers, and thereby positively contribute to social science research capacity in Canada.
