Teacher Education – Concurrent

The Concurrent Education Program offers students who are beginning their university studies, and wish to pursue a career in teaching, an opportunity to complete the Teacher Education Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree program (leading to an Ontario Certificate of Qualification) while earning their undergraduate degree. Teacher candidates develop teaching-related skills, knowledge and experiences throughout their five year program.

Brock’s Concurrent Education program is for students who are passionate about learning and the profession of teaching. Students experience a vibrant five-year curriculum of study leading to teaching certification in Ontario at the Primary/Junior (grades K-6), Junior/Intermediate (grades 4-10, emphasis on grades 4-8) or the Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12) level.
