The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology focuses on human behaviour from a broad perspective.
We offer four different degree options for students in our BA Psychology programs with a co-op option for our four-year degrees. Which degree you choose to complete will depend on what you want to do when you’re finished at Brock. All four degrees are the same for first and second year, so you have until the end of second year to decide which option is right for you.
Combined Majors
Students also have the option to complete a Combined Major with Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and another discipline. For Combined Major students, Major credits will be divided between Psychology and the second discipline. It is important to consult with Academic Advisors from both disciplines before pursing this option.
When you study Psychology at Brock, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from some of the top scholars in the field and receive the support you need to thrive in pursuing your academic and professional goals. Through the Psychology research stream, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with my professors on research projects, write research papers for publication, present at academic conferences, and engage in research ranging from cognitive neuroscience to community-based social research. This program has also strengthened my critical thinking and research skills, setting me up well for my current job as a policy writer, and for a future in academia.”
