The Honours Bachelor of Arts Combined Major in Economics and Business gives you the opportunity to study both economic theory and business in a single program.
The program combines courses in economics and data analysis with training in accounting, marketing, and management. This program helps students understand how economic thinking applies to business decisions and how businesses operate within broader economic systems.
Unlike the Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), which is more structured and focused on two defined streams (Financial and Consumer), the Combined Major offers more flexibility. Students can tailor their course selection based on their specific interests within economics and business while still gaining a strong set of analytical and practical skills.
Graduates are prepared for roles in both public and private sector organizations, whether in business, finance, policy or consulting. The program also provides a solid foundation for further study in economics, business, or professional fields such as law or public administration.
