The Financial Economics Stream of the Honours Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE) offers core training in economic theory, financial systems, and business decision-making.

The program introduces key concepts and methods in finance. It explores how financial institutions operate, how markets respond to changing conditions, and the strategies used to allocate capital and manage risk. The goal is to develop strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data, while also learning to communicate effectively.

Graduates are well-prepared for roles in the public and private sectors, including careers in banking, financial analysis, policy, and economic research. The stream also offers a strong foundation for further study in graduate or professional programs such as an MBA.
