Professor Dustin Duncan review article “Covalent Inhibitors in Antimicrobial Drug Development—Beyond β-Lactams” was published as part of the Special Issue 30th Anniversary of Molecules—Recent Advances in Medicinal Chemistry. It incorporates a bit of historical context to covalent drug development since the discovery of penicillin for the discovery and design of covalent inhibitors and antimicrobial drugs along with the current state of affairs for covalent antimicrobial drugs. It was also tremendous effort by his studend Ghazaleh Jafari
