  • Brock Chemists Present at the 53rd Silicon Symposium

    Members of Brock’s Organosilicon Research Team (Dr. Paul Zelisko, Julio Treviño Silva – PhD student, Laura Voigt – PhD student) presented research findings at the 53rd Silicon Symposium held from June 10-12, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.  Treviño Silva presented research aimed at the development of fluorosilicone coatings, Voigt discussed sustainability in silicone chemistry via healable and recyclable silicone materials, while Zelisko presented the team’s efforts to develop homogenous biocatalysts for use in organic solvents.  Laura Voigt received the “Outstanding Abstract Award” for her presentation.
