Adolescence is a stressful time full of unique challenges and opportunities for youth and those that live/work with them. We know that movement behaviours (such as physical activity, sleep, and screen time) relate to mental health – but how are they connected?
This free webinar explored how specific movement behaviours, like keeping active or sleeping regularly, relate to mental health among adolescents, focusing on:
- What has happened over the pandemic regarding youth movement behaviours and mental health
- The connections between movement behaviours and mental health
- High level recommendations for those that live/work with youth – and youth themselves!
Please note that this webinar does not recommend any specific resource and/or treatment options, nor is it intended to provide individual advice. Individuals should consult with their healthcare team/treatment provider for all healthcare recommendations and decisions.
