The Canadian Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) Study is a World Health Organization, on-going research study of youth aged 11 to 15 years old. The study aims to gain an understanding of young people’s well-being, health behaviours and social experiences. Brock University’s Dr. William Pickett is a lead investigator in the Canadian HBSC Study.
This webinar hosted on September 21, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST discussed pre-COVID findings from the Canadian HBSC study – looking at topics such as:
- An overview of child and adolescent health in Canada
- Examples of findings from across HBSC countries
