Anti-Racism

At Brock University, we’re dedicated to embracing diversity and promoting equality. Through our teaching, research, administration, and community involvement, we prioritize understanding and respect for all identities.

“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist” – Angela Davis

What is Anti-Racism?

Anti-racism means standing against racism and working to stop it! It’s about treating everyone fairly, regardless of their race, ethnicity, cultural background, religion, or nationality, and ensuring everyone has equal opportunities. It’s about recognizing that racism exists and taking action to make things better.
