Travel Information
Planning your Trip:
- Plan your travel so that you arrive on the afternoon of Sunday, Aug. 9th, 2009 and depart on the morning of
Friday Aug. 14th, 2009. Most participants will need only a valid passport to enter Canada. However, citizens of
some countries (e.g. Russia, India) will need to obtain a temporary resident visa in their home country before
coming to Canada.
Important: If you require a visa make your application as soon as possible since it can take many months to be processed. Please check the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website (www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp) to see if you require a visa and for information on how to apply if you do. Contact the conference organizer if the immigration officer asks for a letter of invitation. Note that although US citizens do not require a passport to enter Canada they do require one to re-enter the US.
