Academic reputation is an essential component of student recruitment. The QS World University Rankings compares more than 15,000 academic programs offered by more than 1,500 institutions around the world in a variety of categories and ranks them based on criteria such as academic reputation, employer reputation, and research citations per paper.

These global rankings are significant as they afford universities like Brock the opportunity to profile the high caliber of our academic programming and research enterprise. For example, Brock’s Kinesiology and Sport Management programs routinely rank within the top 100 in the world in the Sport Sciences category of the QS rankings. In  2022, Brock was ranked among the top 9 in Canada in the QS World University Rankings by Subject. Similarly, the Goodman School of Business has been gaining momentum among the MBA programming ranks and looks to have its best year to date.

The QS World Institutional Rankings portal is now open. Faculty members and instructors are invited to share their opinion with QS by completing the survey instrument.

Interested parties can sign up to complete the rankings using this link. Brock is allowed to submit up to 400 names for the academic rankings. After opting in, you can expect to receive an invitation to participate in the QS Global Academic Survey 2024 in the upcoming months. The email will come from rankings@qs.com, so please add that email to the safe senders list and check your spam folder to ensure the email isn’t filtered out.
