Following the open call released on August 30, the University has formed an advisory committee under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators to advise on the appointment of a Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President, Academic. Professor Brian Power has served in this role since July 1, 2018. Professor Power is eligible for re-appointment for a second five-year term. The committee will include:

- Jennifer Guarasci, Associate Vice-President, Human Resources (non-voting ex officio resource to the committee)
