This is a reminder that September 30 is designated as a non-instructional day in the list of important dates for the 2022-23 academic year, which was released in June.
After consultation with colleagues in the sector, this addition was made in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which was designated a federal statutory holiday in June 2021.
While University facilities will remain open, no classes will take place on September 30. Classes scheduled for September 30 will instead be made up on December 7, 2022.
Any questions about this change can be directed to the Registrar’s Office or the Provost’s Office.
