Following the open call released over the summer, the University has formed an advisory committee under Faculty Handbook section 4 to search for a Vice-Provost, Teaching & Learning. The Committee will include:

- Uwe Brand, Faculty of Math & Science
- Thomas Dunk, Faculty of Social Sciences
- Cal Murgu, Professional Librarian
- Ben Johnson, Undergraduate student senator
- Haley Myatt, Graduate student senator/representative of the GSA
- Michael Owen, Dean, Faculty of Education, SAC representative
- Sandy Howe, Associate Director, Experiential Education, staff representative
- Bianca Read, Human Resources (non-voting resource to the committee)
- Janice Peacock, Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic (non-voting resource to the committee)
- Nick Dion, Chief of Staff, Office of Interim President and Vice-Chancellor, Provost and Vice-President, Academic (non-voting resource to the committee)
The membership of the committee has also been circulated by email from the Provost’s Office to faculty members (via their Deans) and to BUSU and the GSA.
