Robson E. De Grande is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brock University, Canada.

He received his Ph.D. degree at the University of Ottawa in 2012 and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the Federal University of Sao Carlos, Brazil in 2006 and 2004, respectively.

He has recently served as Program Chair of DS-RT 2014; Special Session Chair of DS-RT 2015 and 2016; and Program Chair of ACM DIVANet 2015 and 2016; General Chair of NSERC DIVA Workshop 2014 and 2016; and Co-Guest Editor of the Special Issue Simulation of/in the Cloud at the Elsevier Simulation Modeling Practice and Theory (SIMPAT).

He is currently serving as Special Session Chair of IEEE DS-RT 2017, Program Chair of ACM MobiWac 2017, and Poster Chair of ACM MSWiM 2017.

He has contributed and still contributes as TPC member and/or reviewer to ACM MSWiM, IEEE ISCC, IEEE ICC, ACM ANSS, IEEE/ACM DS-RT, ACM PADS, ACM MobiWac, ACM DIVANet, ACM PE-WASUN, and ACM Q2SWinet. He also realizes reviewing activities for ACM TOMACS, ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE TWC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE Access, IEEE TIM, Elsevier FGCS, Elsevier JPDC, Elsevier SIMPAT, Springer WINE, Wiley Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Journal of Simulation, and MDPI Sensors.
