Approval to 4th-Year Honours

Application deadline: March 15 of the preceding academic year.

What you need to apply:

• 70% major average*
• A completed and signed application form
• Approval of the History Department 

Students wishing to apply for admission should meet with the Faculty of Humanities Academic Advisor prior to the deadline. Set up an appointment here.

* If your major average is slightly below 70% and you still wish to apply, please do. Particular circumstances may allow entry.

Specialized 4th-Year Courses

Application deadline: March 31 of the preceding academic year.  

What you need to apply:

• Permission of potential supervisor
• A completed and signed application form (including description of reading field or research project as required, plan for evaluation, and supervisor’s signature)
