The General is an undergraduate history journal published by Brock’s History Department. Launched in 2016, the journal offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate History students to promote academic excellence, learn about the publishing and peer-review process, and share their passion for history. The journal’s co-editors earn course credit through enrolment in HIST 4P70, a course on academic editing and publishing.

We acknowledge the land on which Brock University was built is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (ho-din-anish-shonee) and Anishinaabe (A-nish-shin-aaabee) people, many of whom continue to live and work here today.
