The History Department offers a range of undergraduate degree options designed to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Within each option, we offer considerable flexibility in choosing courses and meeting degree requirements.

Honours (4-year) Bachelor of Arts 

Admission to 4th-Year Honours in History requires a minimum 70 major average and approval of the Department. Applications are due in the Department by March 15 of the preceding academic year.

Honours BA with Co-op

Students can combine academic and work terms to gain experience in professional fields while acquiring a well-rounded education.

Concurrent (Honours) BA/BEd 

Students can prepare to teach at the Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12) or Junior/Intermediate (grades 4-10) level in K-12 education through a collaborative degree program between the History Department and the Faculty of Education.

Pass (3-year) BA
