Personal Counselling offers group counselling and psychoeducational programs designed to support your mental well-being and academic success.
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills workshops for emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) group to help strengthen the mindset and manage stress.
- ADHD group that explores strategies for focus, organization, procrastination and motivation.
Group therapy provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can connect with peers facing similar challenges, gain new perspectives, and learn practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and daily life challenges. Participating in a group can reduce feelings of isolation, build a sense of community, and empower you to thrive both personally and academically.
Learn how to recognize and respond to signs of suicide and connect someone to the help they need. This half-day training includes videos, discussion, and hands-on practice to help you feel confident as a “connector” — someone who can reach out and support others.
A trained facilitator and community support person will be present to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.

ASIST is a two-day, in-person workshop
Teaching you how to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide, and how to respond with a skilled, compassionate intervention.
You’ll learn how to
- Talk about suicide in a safe, supportive way
- Build a safety plan with the person at risk
- Connect them to further help and resources
- Reflect on how personal and community attitudes impact support
Two trained facilitators lead the session using videos, discussion, and real-life simulations in a safe and supportive environment.

The Every Body Project is a body acceptance workshop designed to help students challenge harmful appearance ideals and build a more positive relationship with their bodies.
Developed using peer-led, research-backed strategies, this group offers a safe, supportive space to
- Talk openly about body image and media pressures
- Learn to recognize and challenge negative self-talk
- Build resilience against appearance-based comparisons
- Embrace body diversity and self-compassion
This workshop is inclusive, welcoming to all genders, and grounded in the belief that every body is worthy of respect.

This workshop series is designed specifically for students who are curious about mindfulness and want to build lasting tools for managing stress, improving focus, and supporting emotional well-being.
In these interactive sessions, you’ll

- Reflect on how mindfulness can support academic and personal life
