Mental Health

At Brock, your mental health matters. Explore a range of supports designed to meet you where you’re at.

Open Door Single Session Counselling

You can explore concerns, learn about resources and identify next steps with a professional counsellor.  One session is often enough to address your needs, but you can book subsequent appointments to build on previous sessions or address something new.

Brock Personal Counselling Student Support

On-campus or off-campus, you can email [email protected] to book an appointment.

See a doctor about a mental health concern

Students can see a doctor about mental health concerns; OHIP or UHIP required.

Peer Support

Students can talk to a trained peer about their experiences in the HUB, located off Market Hall.

Wellness Navigators

Students can book time with a Wellness Navigator to talk about their experiences, set wellness goals and be connected to the right resources on campus. Wellness Navigators are not counsellors but can connect students to counselling if needed

Group counselling, workshops and other resources

We run a number of workshops and group sessions for students, as well as providing evidence-based resources to help you take care of your mental health.

Counselling for Racialized and Diverse Identities

Dedicated counselling for Black, Racialized, and Students of Colour at Brock University.
