Preparing for your appointment
1. Confirm Your Appointment
Once an appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation in your Brock email 2 days prior to your appointment. Some appointments have digital forms that must be completed prior to coming to your appointment.
2. Bring Your Health Card and Brock ID Card
You must present your valid (Provincial) Health Card or Cowan (UHIP) certificate number with expiry date and your Brock ID card at each appointment.
3. Arrive Early
Unless otherwise instructed, please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes early.
4. Check-In
Upon arrival for your appointment, you must check in at the front desk and show your health card and Brock student ID.
No show/late cancellation policy
24 Hours or More
If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice (one business day). If you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee, as per the fee schedule.
48 Hours or More
For appointments booked with a specialist (psychiatry, OBGYN, ADHD specialist), we require at least 48 hours notice (two business days). If you do not cancel your appointment 48 hours or more (two business days) before your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee, as per the fee schedule.
1 hour or more
As the DrugSmart Pharmacy is a same-day appointment model, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide 1 hour’s notice before your scheduled appointment. If you do not cancel 1 hour or more of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a fee, as per the fee schedule. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your same-day appointment, you will not be able to be seen and will be charged a no-show fee, as per the fee schedule.

Patient Fees for Uninsured Services
In Ontario, the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) establishes the recommended fee annually. For forms and notes, the fee covers the cost of the form only and an additional fee may be charged for assessments that are not medically necessary.
