Dawn Zinga has been appointed Acting Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and will serve in the role from January 1 to December 31, 2025. This twelve-month appointment will take place while Ingrid Makus, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences is on approved administrative research leave, in keeping with the Administrative Leave Policy for Senior Academic Administrators. 

Professor Zinga currently serves as the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences and holds an appointment in the Department of Child of Youth Studies. 

Professor Rebecca Raby, Department of Child and Youth Studies, will serve as Acting Associate Dean, Graduate and Research during Professor Zinga’s time in the Acting Dean role.
