The Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President, Academic and Deputy Provost has formed a Steering Committee for the Curriculum Delivery Initiative (CDI). The CDI was launched earlier this year by the Provost and Vice-President. The CDI is a key part of the implementation of Brock’s Academic Plan and commitments that relate to undergraduate programming.
The Steering Committee membership will be as follows:
- Brian Power, Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President, Academic and Deputy Provost (Chair)
- Rajiv Jhangiani, Vice-Provost, Teaching & Learning
- Geraldine Jones, University Registrar & Associate Vice-President, Enrolment Services
One tenured faculty representative from each of the following Senate committees:
- Liz Clarke, Chair, Teaching and Learning Policy Committee
- Colin Rose, Planning, Priorities and Budget Committee
- Angus Smith, Undergraduate Student Affairs Committee
- TBD, Undergraduate Program Committee
Two representatives appointed by the Brock Undergraduate Students’ Union (BUSU):
- Anusha Pahuja, President, BUSU
- Carleigh Charlton, Vice-President, University Affairs, BUSU
One representative from each of the Faculties, to be appointed by the Chair.
- Kirsty Spence, Associate Dean, Teaching & Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Applied Health Sciences
- Michael Savage, Director, MEd Program and Undergraduate Educational Studies, Faculty of Education
- Thad Harroun, Chair, Department of Physics, Faculty of Math and Science
- Tek Thongpapanl, Goodman School of Business
- Ann Howey, Department of English Language & Literature, Faculty of Humanities
- Caitlin Mahy, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences
The Steering Committee will begin meeting shortly and will work with the Faculties and their constituent undergraduate programs to consider their current curricula and promote alignment with institutional priorities.
