Announcing the Advisory Committee on the University Librarian

Following the open call released on August 15, the University has formed an advisory committee under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators to advise on the appointment of a University Librarian. Nicole Nolan is currently serving in the role on an interim basis. The committee will include:

  • Colleen MacKinnon, Head, User Services & Engagement (Acting)
  • Alicia Floyd, Supervisor, Access Services
  • Kymberly Ash, Teaching & Learning Librarian, Business and Education
  • Laurie Morrison, Collections Librarian
  • Pascal Lupien, Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Mary-Louise Vanderlee, Interim Dean, Faculty of Education, SAC representative
  • Carleigh Charlton, BUSU representative
  • Adyta Raz, GSA representative
  • Stevie Moffat, Office of People and Culture (non-voting resource to the committee)
  • Janice Peacock, Office of the Provost and Vice President, Academic (non-voting resource to the committee)
  • Nicholas Dion, Office of the Provost and Vice President, Academic (non-voting resource to the committee)
  • Lynn Wells, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, Committee Chair

The membership of the committee has also been circulated by email from the Provost’s Office to faculty members (via their Deans) and to BUSU and the GSA.
