The President’s Advisory Committee for Human Rights, Equity and Decolonization (PACHRED) Nominations Committee is seeking nominees for membership. Nominations will be accepted until Thursday, April 8 at 11:59 p.m. Interested Brock University students, faculty and staff can find details about the application process and committee requirements here.
PACHRED serves to share information across campus, and collaborate on the common goals of community members to address opportunities and concerns associated with human rights, equity or decolonization, and advise University President Gervan Fearon. PACHRED also unifies the activities of six affiliated working groups: 2SLGBT+, Anti-Ableism and Mental Health, Anti-Racism Taskforce, Decolonization, Employment Equity, and Sexual Violence Prevention Committee.
PACHRED meets at least four times each academic year. For accessibility, it is expected that PACHRED meetings will be virtual via Teams for the duration of the 2021-22 cycle. For more information, contact Shannon Kitchings at skitchings@brocku.ca
