Free webinar: ‘Building Better Research: Research through Community Partnerships’

On Tuesday, January 26 from 12-1, the Office of Research Services, the University Library and the Government and Community Relations Office will be hosting a free webinar for Brock faculty members, librarians and staff on conducting research through community partnerships.

Research and knowledge mobilization are an integral part of Brock’s community engagement strategy. Brock’s Community Engagement Strategic Plan was developed to support and enhance Brock’s community connections and research across the University. During this seminar, the Office of Government and Community Relations will share information about how it can support research through community engagement. Three faculty members will also share their experiences working with community partners to enhance their research and teaching. Speakers will include:

  • Professor Madelyn Law, Department of Health Sciences and Centre for Pedagogical Innovation
  • Professor Ryan Plummer,  Environmental Sustainability Research Centre
  • Professor Sid Segalowitz, Department of Psychology and Canadian Centre for Lifespan Development
