Centre for Sport Capacity Soccer Working Group

The CSC Soccer Working Group is an initiative that brings the CSC and the soccer community together. Our mission is to provide expertise in safe sport and positive governance practices, internship development, and promotional campaign ideas tailored to soccer clubs. We incorporate current soccer industry research into every collaboration to help implement strategies and address the challenges or gaps your organization may be facing. We work closely with club leadership to understand local context, priorities, and capacity, ensuring recommendations are practical and achievable. Where appropriate, we also connect clubs with student talent and broader CSC networks to support implementation and build sustainable momentum over time.

What We Do

Following the CSC’s SportService framework, the CSCSWG provides support in soccer specific areas. With the expertise of our members, we draw on current, evidence based research from both academia and the soccer industry to develop solutions tailored to your club’s needs. Our team works directly with clubs and translates this research into practical deliverables, including reports, policy development proposals, and promotional content ideas. The CSCSWG also creates student volunteer opportunities and supports networking, along with the development of potential internship placements.
