The Honours Bachelor of Arts Combined Major in Economics and Geography offers you the opportunity to explore how economic decisions interact with environmental, social, and geographic factors.
Geographers examine the spatial and environmental dimensions of human activity, while economics provides tools to evaluate trade-offs, design policies, and develop solutions to complex problems. The program combines core training in economic theory with courses in spatial analysis, environmental change and geospatial technologies. It prepares you to think critically about the systems and structures that influence real-world outcomes.
Graduates are well positioned for careers in policy analysis, urban planning, economic development, and environmental management. The program also provides a strong foundation for further study in economics, geography, or public policy.
