Move-In day is a very exciting moment whether this is the first time you are leaving home or you have been a graduate student. We know you are already in planning mode. This information is provided to answer some of your move-in questions. More detailed information will be available two weeks prior Residence Move-In.
Move in Day is Sunday September 5th *.
*This may need to be adjusted to a multiple day Move In between Sept 1st and 7th depending on the COVID-19 regulations/restrictions in place later in the summer. Assigned move in dates will depend on your room assignment. Move in dates and times will be made available by mid-August so you have time to prepare.
Students in Brock Suites can move in starting September 1st.
You will receive your room assignment via your Brock Office 365 Outlook student email account. Make sure you set up your Brock email on your phone or email client so you will know when this information comes in or if we have any questions about your application. Learn more about when these room assignments will come out.
Social distancing measures and other safety protocols will be in place. More information will be available closer to Residence Move-In Day.
Your Brock Student Card is your access to the Brock Community and all of its partners. Your Brock Student Card has your meal plan and flex dollars on it, and will provide access to residence laundry room and service desk lobby. Prior to move-in day you will be notified by your Brock Office 365 student email on what you need to do in advance of move in for your card. IF you provided your information, you will be given your card at move-in. For more information please visit the Brock Card website at https://brocku.ca/brock-card
We stress that bricks and mortar don’t make your stay in residence a memorable one. It’s the people with whom you will be living. 360 degree tours of each residence is available on the residence building and amenity page for descriptions, picture galleries and the 360 tours.
All Brock University Residence rooms are already fully furnished with a twin bed, a dresser, a desk and chair, closet or wardrobe, shelving, and garbage bins. Townhouse Style residences also have furnished living rooms and kitchens equipped with a sofa, a chair, tables, and eating area. If you’re thinking about bringing extra furnishings and/or appliances you MUST read our Allowable Appliances and Allowable Furnishings documents. Due to your room and unit being fully furnished there is limited space for extra furnishings and appliances, and anything that is brought in must be made of metal or plastic. Why? To help reduce fire safety hazards and potential pest problems. Everyone wants to be on the safe side!
