Members of the Alliance of Canadian Comprehensive Research Universities (ACCRU) are part of an organization that fosters discussions on the challenges and issues faced by small- and medium-sized universities, encouraging collaboration between member institutions. ACCRU serves as a voice for communicating research and scholarly activity issues important to its members with research funding agencies, policy makers, and the public at large.
Members of the Canadian Institute of Ecology and Evolution (CIEE) are part of Canada’s national synthesis center for ecology and evolution. The CIEE supports the synthesis of data, concepts, and disciplines, trains researchers in cutting-edge research skills, and advocates for scientific data to be open and preserved.
The Conversation Canada is a leading publisher of international research-based news and analysis. It is a collaboration between academics and journalists, with all articles written for the public by academics and researchers with expertise on the topics they are writing about. Through membership with the Conversation Canada researchers are able to submit articles for publication on the platform.

Members of the Digital Research Alliance of Canada have access to its coordinated and funded activities related to Advanced Research Computing (ARC), Research Data Management (RDM), and Research Software (RS). Funded by the Government of Canada, the Alliance aims to advance the national Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) strategy, ensuring that Canadian researchers across all disciplines have access to essential digital tools, services, and infrastructure.
MATLAB is a language and interactive programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation. Accessing this resource allows users to explore and visualize ideas and collaborate across various disciplines, including parallel computing, control systems, signal processing and communications, image processing and computer vision, test and measurement, computational finance, computational biology, and app deployment. Members of the Network of Networks (N2) have access to a common platform for clinical researchers to share tools, best practices, resources, experience, and expertise among Canadian research networks and organizations. N2 works to ensure efficient and high-quality research and clinical trials are conducted in Canada.
Members of Neutrons Canada are part of a not-for-profit dedicated to governing, managing, and representing Canada’s infrastructure program for research and development with neutron beams, including securing international partnerships for access to leading neutron laboratories, operating domestic neutron beam facilities, and spearheading national initiatives for future neutron sources.
Members of the Niagara Industrial Association (NIA) are part of an organization that supports local industry, promotes its interests, and addresses challenges hindering its advancement. Additionally, NIA collaborates with business and government partners to pursue business development opportunities, aiming to create new avenues for its members.
Members of the Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) are part of a not-for-profit organization supported by a global community of member organizations. These include research institutions, publishers, funders, professional associations, service providers, and other stakeholders in the research ecosystem. ORCID aims to facilitate transparent and trustworthy connections between researchers, their contributions, and their affiliations by providing unique, persistent identifiers for individuals to use in their research, scholarship, and innovation activities.
Pivot-RP is an online database that provides information about various funding opportunities, fosters advanced research collaboration, extends communications, and supports proposals through targeted insights.

Qualtrics is a web-based survey tool used to conduct survey research, evaluations, and other data collection activities. A subscription to Qualtrics provides a platform for survey creation, distribution, and analysis, and includes options for diverse question types, advanced customization options, and multiple distribution methods (including SMS distribution).

Research Impact Canada (RIC) is a national network dedicated to maximizing the real-world impact of research. Through collaboration, knowledge mobilization, and capacity-building initiatives, RIC supports researchers and institutions in translating knowledge into action.

Members of The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) are part of an organization that includes three academies: the Academy of Arts and Humanities, the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Academy of Science. RSC’s primary objective is to promote learning and research in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. This is achieved through the election of Fellows and Members and the awarding of honors to recognize exceptional achievements.
SciVal provides access to the research performance of over 24,000 research institutions and their associated researchers, from 234 nations worldwide. This allows researchers and institutions to find collaborators, demonstrate impact, and discover relevant cross-disciplinary areas of research. SciVal supports researchers, librarians, research leaders, and funders in providing high-quality data and analytics that allow benchmarking against peers, and identification of emerging research trends.
Access to the Statistics Canada Research Data Centre at McMaster (RDC) allows researchers to utilize its resources as a member of the Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN). This includes access to Statistics Canada’s microdata ‘masterfiles,’ encompassing numerous population, social, and health surveys, as well as Census and administrative data files.
