Executive Presence, Impact & Influence Program Celebrates Leadership Transformation

Goodman Group proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Spring cohort of the Executive Presence, Impact & Influence Program, an immersive two-day leadership experience designed to help professionals elevate how they communicate, influence and lead.

Led by Neil Thornton, professionals from District School Board of Niagara, Regional Municipality of Niagara, CAA Niagara and Niagara Regional Police Service joined the program to develop leadership skills that can be applied immediately in today’s fast-moving workplace.

Throughout the program, participants explored powerful concepts that challenged traditional thinking around leadership and communication. Key themes included the importance of seeing situations through other people’s perspectives, leading with positivity and energy, creating accountability through commitment and recognizing that how we communicate is often more influential than what we communicate.

Through real-time coaching, interactive speaking exercises and guided reflection, participants strengthened their ability to:

  • Communicate with greater clarity and confidence
  • Lead difficult conversations more effectively
  • Build stronger relationships through empathy and recognition
  • Influence others without relying on authority
  • Increase personal presence in meetings and presentations
  • Create more engaged and motivated teams

A memorable takeaway from the program was the reminder that people may forget what you said or did, but they will remember how you made them feel. This message reinforced the power of leadership rooted in connection, respect and impact.

Upon completion of the program, participants received a certificate recognizing their commitment to continued growth and leadership excellence.
