WHAT ARE DROP-INS & LIVE CHAT FOR?
Use Live Chat and Drop-Ins for quick Who, What, When, Where type questions. How and Why questions are better answered in an appointment. Not sure which you need? Start with Drop-ins or Live Chat and we will let you know if you need a full appointment!
Drop-in Advising – held in the FOE Advising Office – Welch Hall 126:
- Drop-in Advising normally takes place on Tuesdays from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Enter your name into the Queue system on the television when you enter the office.
Live Chat – held virtually:
- Live Chat normally takes place on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and can be accessed by clicking on the “Chat with us now” button on the left hand side of this page.
- Start a Live Chat by clicking the “Need Help” graphic (on the upper left side of this page!) when it is red, this means we are online. If the graphic is grey we are offline, but you can still email us your questions.
During peak periods, like the beginning of term or during registration periods, additional Drop-In and Live Chat Hours will be available – please see our Brightspace Page for days and times.
