Black Futures Showcase
The Black Futures Showcase is the part of capstone celebration of Black History Month/African Heritage Month at Brock University; an expo-style event dedicated to highlighting the groundbreaking work of Black, African & Caribbean student creators, innovators, and researchers.
Students from ALL disciplines are invited to exhibit their projects in a dynamic, supportive, and community-centred environment. Whether presenting art, research, design, or tech innovations, this is your platform to shine, connect, and be recognized.
By signing up, you secure your spot to:
- Share your project with the wider Brock community.
- Build connections with peers, faculty, and supporters
- Celebrate Black creativity, scholarship, and leadership
Current Brock students, enrolled in either undergraduate and graduate level programs, including Alumni, can apply to showcase during Afro-Caribbean Night.
Students wishing to showcase must submit their Application before the predetermined deadline date.

Afro-Caribbean Night Registration
Afro-Caribbean Night welcomes students, staff, faculty, and community members to come together in celebration and Black flourishing in recognition of Black History/African Heritage Month.
Our city holds an important place in Canadian Black History as one of the key locations of the Underground Railroad, where freedom seekers found refuge and built thriving communities. Afro-Caribbean Night is a chance to celebrate that legacy and the vibrant contributions of Black voices today. To learn more about other Black History/African Heritage month events hosted by Brock University visit Experience BU.
Your Afro-Caribbean Night ticket gives you:
