Dr. Lucia Costantini is a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience in acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on kidney disease, hemodialysis, and home dialysis therapies. She has held leadership and educational roles within dialysis programs, including positions as Clinical Educator and Nurse Manager. Her research incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Earlier work centered on chronic kidney disease, self-management, and psychological distress. Dr. Costantini’s current research focuses on nursing education, particularly the development of inclusive teaching and learning strategies to support nursing students who require accommodations. Her broader interests include improving accessibility within nursing programs, fostering equitable learning environments, and advancing strategies that enhance learner success.
