Dr. Kathryn Halverson is a Registered Nurse and Assistant Professor with interests in transition to practice, recruitment and retention of new nurses, professional identity formation, and ethics. Prior to joining Brock University in 2022, she was a faculty member at Lakehead University School of Nursing in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Her nursing experience is in the areas of public health nursing and community health, specifically nursing services for Veterans.
