In September of 2020, Brock became a Living Planet @ Campus partner with World Wildlife Fund Canada. This partnership will allow students to engage in conservation activities or efforts on campus, in their communities, and even globally.

About the Partnership
As a Living Planet @ Campus partner, Brock will provide students with the opportunity to work towards WWF-Canada’s nationally recognized Living Planet Leader self-guided certification. Leading or participating in environmental activities offered by WWF-Canada, Brock University, and their local community, students can adapt the program’s requirements (while respecting COVID-19 social distancing rules). To earn the certificate, students must complete requirements in the following categories:
- campus, community, or global volunteerism
- personal application
- academics
- leadership and teamwork
Students have from the first day of their first post-secondary program, including their time at Brock, until three months after graduating from their final post-secondary program to complete and submit the requirements to earn WWF-Canada’s Living Planet Leader certificate. Upon completion, students can include the certification on their resume and LinkedIn, and will be listed on WWF-Canada’s Living Planet @ Campus website.
