Congratulations to HUMA students Alia Wazzan, Maya Karanouh and Long Vu who have been recognized for their hard work!
Alia Wazzan has been awarded The 2024–2025 Robert G. Rawle Graduate Bursary and The 2024–2025 Marilyn Rose Graduate Award for Excellence in Humanities. Alia is in preparation for her Dissertation on “Netflix’s Feminist Euphoria on its MENA Platform: Colonial Feminism in the Era of a Neoliberal Platform Economy?” in the upcoming year.
Maya Karanouh is a fourth year student and has received the General Brock Soiree Graduate Award. Maya’s Dissertation is on “Enhancing Growth of Canadian Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) through the Disruptive Application of Artificial Intelligence.”
Long Vu is the recipient of the Dr. Marilyn J. Rose Graduate Studies Fund. Long is a second year student with HUMA who’s Dissertation is on “The Cultural Politics of Giftedness.”
