Before applying to the programme, you are required to secure the support of a faculty member willing to supervise your work.

How do you find a faculty member to supervise?

1. Visit our Faculty Page to determine availability for supervision (indicated under the details of each faculty member), and whose research interests intersect with your own.
2. Send an introductory email including a paragraph about your research interests, and then ask about willingness to supervise.
3. If the faculty member you approach says that their research interests do not align yours, politely ask for a recommendation to another faculty member or email the programme director (Lissa Paul, lpaul@brocku.ca)
