Hamilton Campus

As part of its plan to achieve more modern facilities in the Hamilton-Burlington-Oakville (HBO) corridor, Brock University has  sold the site that has been its Hamilton campus for the past 20 years.

The  University will  continue to conduct teaching and research at its King Street east campus until August 2022.

Brock is exploring its best options for establishing a next-generation presence in the region.

If you are currently enrolled in the two professional teacher education cohorts (Year 5/Year 6 Concurrent and Year 1/Year 2 Consecutive), you will be able to complete your BEd at the Hamilton Campus. The Teacher Education program will operate at the current location until the summer of 2022.

Brock has committed to having a continued presence in the Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville region.

If you are a Concurrent Education Year 4 student and had selected Hamilton as your campus of choice for the two professional years of the BEd program, you will be able to complete the first year of the BEd program at the Hamilton Campus and the second year at a new facility in the Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville region.

Year 1 to Year 3 students will complete their BEd program at the new facility.

Brock has committed to having a continued presence in the Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville region.

If you are applying as a Consecutive Student starting in 2021, you will be located at the King Street Campus in September 2021-May 2022. The second year of your program will be completed at the new facility.

The new campus location is not known at this time. Brock is working to identify a location for its new campus in the Hamilton-Burlington-Oakville corridor.

The change in location will be announced to students as soon as it is confirmed. Brock is committed to providing our student with as much advanced notice as possible to allow you to coordinate housing and other arrangements.
