Dr. Manal Alzghoul is a registered Nurse in Jordan, the UK, and Canada with a clinical background in pediatric, acute, and critical care nursing.

She has a range of teaching experiences at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She has been involved in the curriculum design, development, and teaching of a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Relational Practice, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Therapeutic Communication, Care and Comfort Skills, Adult Health Assessment, Nursing Research, Fundamentals of Nursing, Adult Illness Concepts, as well as Accident and Emergency Care.

Her research focuses on various research interests that fall within the broad topic areas of diversity and equity in the access and utilization of health care services.

Her current research activities focus on the following core areas: Injury Prevention, Immigrant Health, Perinatal Care, Nursing Ethics, Rural Health, and Nursing Education. Using an interdisciplinary approach and a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, Manal Alzghoul is currently working on different research projects with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, faculty from diverse academic disciplines, and community-based health care providers, nationally and internationally.
