Associate Professor, Nursing
Dr. Danielle Dunwoody is a Registered Nurse with a diverse clinical background in critical care, pain management, pediatrics, and peri anesthesia nursing. She has held various positions as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Acute Pain Management, an Assistant Professor of Nursing (undergraduate and graduate) at York University and most recently, as the Manager of the Maternal Newborn Department in Halton region. Dr. Dunwoody’s research involves both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Her research interests are centered around pain assessment and management practices, opioid safety and risk, as well as tacit knowledge in nursing practice.
