Psychology

Psychology is the science of the brain and behaviour.

The Psychology Department at Brock University offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degrees. 

At the undergraduate level, we offer four different streams for students in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and two streams in the Bachelor of Science. We also offer combined major programs and a minor in Psychology.Bachelor of Arts students can choose either Honours Research, Honours Comprehensive, a BA with Major or Pass Degree. Students in the Honours Research stream complete a thesis in their final year while student in the Honours Comprehensive stream complete a wider variety of content courses and complete an applied data management course in their final year.Bachelor of Science students can choose to complete either an Honours degree or a BSc with Major. Students in the Honours BSc stream have the option to complete a thesis or a library research project in their final year.Co-op is available in both BA and BSc programs, in any of our four-year degree options.  

At the graduate level, we offer Masters of Arts (MA) and PhD programs in three focus areas: 1) behavioural and cognitive neuroscience, 2) lifespan development, and 3) social and personality psychology.
