WGST 2V91

Horror: Decolonial and Feminist Perspectives
Decolonial and Intersectional feminist introduction to critical horror studies. Topics may include the social construction of horror over time; theorizing horror in mass media and; critical understandings of horror and death in the context of colonialism and capitalism.

WGST 3V90

Feminism, Dance and The Body: Identity, Performance, Movement and Transformation
Feminist and dance studies critical perspectives on the body and embodiment that combine theoretical analysis with experiential learning of dance improvisations and movement vocabularies. Intellectual and embodied inquiry about multiple and overlapping meanings of physical expression, identity, and representation.
