  • April 6, 2024 – YWCA Annual Niagara Leadership Summit For Women

Join for an exciting all-day event of speakers and workshops at the YWCA’s 10th Annual Niagara Leadership Summit For Women!

The Niagara Leadership Summit For Women presents an inclusive environment to encourage and celebrate women leaders in our community and opens the conversation surrounding women’s issues in Niagara. The event is hosted by the YWCA Niagara Region.

Everyone, regardless of gender, should have the courage and confidence to be the leader they are and want to be. Leadership is not about being ‘at the top’—there are leaders all around us who make a difference every day. This event offers many valuable opportunities for women leaders and allies to connect, share common goals and evaluate common challenges, and network with like-minded community leaders.

This year’s theme of Bold and Unapologetic encourages women leaders to be authentic, assert their worth, and unapologetically pursue their goals and aspirations. It’s about fostering a culture where women feel empowered to lead without constantly apologizing for their success or feeling the need to downplay their achievements. The goal is to redefine leadership norms, challenge biases, and create a more inclusive and equitable environment for women in leadership positions.

    Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:00am to 4:00pm
Thistle Hallway at Brock University, with speakers in the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre
Tickets are $30 per person and will include lunch and free childcare.

For more information on ticket purchasing, the program, speakers, workshops, and frequently asked questions, visit the YWCA Niagara Region’s event page.
