All year three CHYS and Concurrent Education (Primary/Junior) students, regardless of your standing in the program, are required to apply for Honours no later than May 1, 2024.
How to apply:
- Watch for and attend an information session
- Meet with your Academic Advising team to ensure your course selection is appropriate
- Review your options and ask questions!
- Submit the University application form (available on Brightspace) to chysadvising@brocku.ca by May 1, 2024
- All students are required to submit an application, even if they are missing requirements, as you may be eligible for a conditional offer to the course work pathway
In May, the Academic Advising Team will review all Honours applications to determine student eligibility. Any student who meets the minimum requirements will automatically move into the Course Work option. Students who meet the requirements for research will be sent an invitation to apply for a Thesis or Project. If a student is eligible for a research option but wishes to pursue course work, they do not need to complete the invitation and will be defaulted into this option.
The CHYS Academic Advising team will be sending out offers with your assigned pathway in late spring prior to course registration.
Conditional offers will follow. Those with conditional offers are encouraged to book an appointment with Academic Advising.
