Visitor & Paid Parking

All vehicles parked on Brock University property must have valid parking through a permit or paid parking using HONK Mobile. License plates must be clearly visible from the laneway at all times. Parking regulations are enforced 24/7, and requirements may vary by lot.

When is paid parking required?
  • September 1  to April 30: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • May 1 to August 31: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How do I pay?

Parking can be purchased through the Honk Mobile app (App Store – Apple or  Google Play Store – Android)  or Honk Mobile website. Honk allows you to pay in advance, making it easy to ensure your parking is validated before arriving on campus.

Payment is also available in person at the Parking Services office.

Please review the campus parking map and instructions below to locate the appropriate lot and payment zone.

Important Information
  • Parking fees provide access to park on Brock University property and do not guarantee the availability of a parking space.
  • Payment must be made for the specific lot in which the vehicle is parked. Vehicles parked in a different lot than the one paid for may be subject to ticketing.
  • If your selected lot is full, please use the designated overflow lot or contact Parking Services for assistance.
  • Drivers are responsible for entering their correct license plate number when purchasing parking. If the license plate is entered incorrectly, the vehicle is subject to ticketing.
  • Refunds cannot be issued for unused parking time.

Step 1:  Download the App or scan the QR Code: 

Step 2: Select your parking session duration. Parking must be paid for the entire duration the vehicle is parked to avoid ticketing.

Step 3: Enter the Zone ID 

  • Each lot has its own unique four-digit Zone ID which is posted on the Honk signs located in the lot
  • If you scan the QR code, the four- digit Zone ID will be entered for you

Step 4: Add your vehicle information 

  • Enter your license plate and tap the “Add Vehicle” button 
  • Be sure to double check you have added your licence plate correctly to avoid ticketing

Step 5: Add payment method 

  • Select “New Credit Card” (if you have not already set this up previously)
  • Enter your card number, Card CVV, expiry date and postal code
  • Select “Add Card” 

Step 6: Payment 

  • On the checkout page, verify your information is correct – plate number, start/end time, payment method. 
  • If correct, select “Pay and Park”
  • You may choose to receive optional text messages/alerts to be notified when your session is about to expire (carrier rates may apply). 
  • You may extend the length of your parking session without returning to your vehicle, however, you will be limited to the maximum duration permitted under local area parking restrictions. 

Once you have set up a Honk account, you may save your information so when you visit again or visit another North American location where Honk is offered, all you’ll need to do would be to select your parking session and pay!
