Parking facilities at Brock University are private property. Anyone parking on campus agrees to comply with the Rules and Regulations.
Parking ticket appeals must be submitted within ten (10) business days from the ticket’s date of issuance. After this timeframe ticket appeals will not be accepted and the parking fees will be considered uncontested and must be paid.
All appeals must be submitted online. To submit an appeal, you will need to log in to your parking self-serve portal or enter the ticket number and vehicle license plate.
When submitting an appeal, you must select one of the following options:
Dispute Ticket
Ticket disputes will only be considered if:
- The ticket was issued to the incorrect license plate; or
- The vehicle was not in violation at the time the ticket was issued
(Supporting evidence must be provided)
Request for Leniency
Choose this option if you acknowledge the ticket was issued correctly and are requesting a reduction of the balance due to mitigating circumstances, including:
- I didn’t know this was a violation;
- My parking expired I have a permit/payment, but parked in the wrong lot;
- I have a permit/payment but entered the plate incorrectly;
- I paid for parking after the ticket was issued;
- I was parked for less than 15 minutes.
A request for leniency acknowledges that the ticket was issued correctly and seeks a reduction of the outstanding balance. Leniency is not guaranteed.
All appeals must include complete and accurate contact information:
- First and Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
Note: An attachment is required when submitting an appeal.
