This scholarship is open to all fourth-year undergraduate student(s) in Game Design or Game Programming who demonstrate academic excellence, with an 80% minimum average. Five scholarships will be awarded each year in categories related to the applicant’s expertise, including art, sound, programming, design, and leadership. The selection process is based on student portfolios, reviewed by DDH faculty in the Game Program. Preference will be given to students who identify as members of an equity seeking group including women, members of visible minorities or racialized groups, Indigenous/Aboriginal peoples including those who identify as members of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples, and persons with disabilities, and that also includes persons who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+).
Submissions will be accepted in November each year and winner will be announced early December.
