Advocacy

One of the main objectives of the Brock Alumni Association is to serve as advocates on behalf of the Brock alumni community. The Alumni Board of Directors has an advocacy committee who works closely with the Office of Alumni Relations and other university partners to ensure issues of importance to Brock alumni are being heard.

Current Issues

GRAD COMPOSITES - The class composites that line the hallways of Brock University are a source of great pride and provide a sense of legacy for the entire Brock Community.  Currently the University has no clear plan in place for the location and maintenance of these class composites going forward.  In short, there is only so much wall space at Brock.  In addition, many of the composites have faded due to sun exposure and are difficult if not impossible to duplicate.

Currently, the Alumni Association's Advocacy Committee is working with the Office of Alumni Relations and the Brock University Students' Union to establish a long-term plan for the composites.
